A Guide to Your Way Home

Many saints and I are together making painstaking efforts to preach the dharma, while you are going sightseeing with your friends. .
Due to previous good karma you are fortunate to be in a carefree mood, while I am suffering the agony of pitying all beings in miseries.
I spend sleepless nights worrying about all beings, while you cling to the delusive desires and feel perfect.
I’d like to do my best to save you but I cannot break the law of karma, and it’s hard to get into the way without adequate preparation.
It’s your precious chance to meet me in this life after numerous kalpas, therefore I hope we’ll together return to the Bodhi-way.
Without enough supply you cannot settle your mind no matter how wise you are, and your dexterities are also in vain.
Once you’ve cognized the fundamentality you can understand all sutras; without real enlightenment your capability is limited.
When death comes, your eloquence will exhaust and it cannot help you through the way.
I wish you’d wake up early to seek the way home, as well as follow the Guru’s teachings towards the thusness.
As you’ve heard the teachings in this life, you should save yourself in this life rather than again jump into the fire of bad karma.
Only by coming out of samsara can you put an end to all the miseries, otherwise your knowledge may cut off the way of wisdom.
There is no perfect wisdom outside the body, and by understanding your self-nature you’ll meet the Buddha.
