Song of Practicing the Bodhi-way
I originally lived in the clouds and felt carefree, being neither a worthy nor saint,.
When I was still in the realm of perception, I heard about Buddhism and became a disciple of the Buddha.
Visions won’t cease if I perceive them without enlightenment, and perception will forever exist if I contemplate it without cessation.
I have such a right view and perceive visions with contemplation, thus I find the door of karma in contemplation and cognition.
Without contemplation cognition is simply cognition, and without cognition contemplation is merely contemplation.
Contemplation and cognition are coadjutant, so I’d practice the middle way between contemplation and cognition.
I’d accumulate enough supplies to settle the Bodhi-way, which is neither warp nor evil.
I’d abandon the bias of non-existent and existent to prove the Bodhi-way, which is neither birth nor death.
I’d practice both the cessation and contemplation to enter into the Middle Way, not deviating from the Bodhi-way.
I’d practice the Bodhi-way step by step, and perfectly digest all teachings of the Buddha.
You only see the way of perception because you are yet in the realm of perception, but I see the Middle Way in my practice of the Bodhi-way.
Neither contemplation nor perception is apart from the mind, therefore all dharma enter into the Bodhi-way.
Practice and enlightenment are essentially the one undivided truth, so there’s no need to tell perception from the Bodhi-way.
I wish you’d find the way during perception; yet I’ll keep the Middle Way and walk in the clouds!
